Check mixture and adjust it if necessary - refer to 73-20-01. REMOVAL OF THE PEDESTAL CONTROLS (Figure 401) A. Tools and consumable materials None B. Procedure 1) Remove the central control pedestal - refer to 25-14-00. 2) Remove and discard cotter pins (4), retain washers (5) and clevis pins (7). Then disengage fork ends (6) from control levers (1). 3) Remove and discard nut (19), retain washers (20) and bolt (21). NOTE : Make sure locking knob (8) is loose. 4) Slowly disengage axle (18) to the right and retain each component of assembly (22) (one after the other). 5) If necessary, remove and discard retaining washer (17) and remove locking knob (8). 2.
