A. Tools and consumable materials - Grease (TB 04-004A) B. Procedure 1) Check all the components of assembly (22) for condition. Replace them if necessary. 2) Lubricate clevis pins (7) with grease (TB 04-004A). 3) If removed, install locking knob (8) and a new retaining washer (17). CAUTION : IT IS IMPERATIVE TO FOLLOW ASSEMBLY ORDER OF ALL THE COMPONENTS OF ASSEMBLY (22) - refer to Figure 401. 4) Slowly engage axle (18) and install each component of assembly (22) (one after the other). Obey the assembly order of the components precisely - refer to Figure 401. NOTE : Make sure lock plates (11) are secured by bolt (3). 5) Secure axle (18) with bolt (21), washers (20) and a new nut (19). 6) Secure fork ends (6) to control levers (1) with clevis pins (7), washers (5) and new cotter pins (4). 7) Screw locking knob (8) and make sure the system which controls the amount of braking force applied to the controls operates correctly. 8) Lubricate controls (2) - refer to 12-21-02. 9) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris. 10) Install the central control pedestal - refer to 25-14-00.
