20) Position swivel rod end (4) onto lever (3). If necessary, actuate nuts (12) and (14) and/or unscrew swivel rod end (4) until clevis pin (7), washer (8), lever (3), swivel rod end (4) and washer (9) fit together freely. 21) Make sure control (29) thread is visible through inspection hole (6). 22) Screw adjusting screw (1) until it reaches its initial position. 23) Install nut (10) and a new cotter pin (11). 24) Hold swivel rod end (4) and tighten jam nut (5). CAUTION : LEVER (3) MUST REACH MECHANICAL STOP ON THE INJECTION PUMP BEFORE CONTROL LEVER (35) REACHES MECHANICAL STOP ON THE CONTROL PEDESTAL. 25) Operate control lever (35) twice or three times and make sure that lever (3) is correctly controlled, that it reaches idle and full throttle stops before control lever (35) reaches mechanical stop on the control pedestal, that microswitch (36) is operating and that all the control levers are aligned in front and rear stops. NOTE : If necessary, actuate nuts (24) and (28) and/or screw or unscrew fork end (31) by one turn and a half max. to adjust control lever (35) position. 26) Tighten nuts (12) and (14). Lockwire them. 27) Install clamp (19) with washer (17) and a new blind rivet (18) — refer to 51-40-02. 28) Install clamp (23) with bolt (20), washer (21) and a new nut (22). 29) Install new tie-wraps to attach control (29). NOTE : If necessary, put protection tape (TB 05-938) on engine and landing gear mount before installing the tie-wraps. 30) Apply sealant (TB 09-904) to grommet (15) to seal the passage of control sheaths in the firewall. 31) Lubricate control (29) - refer to 12-21-01. With vapor cycle cooling system 32) Make sure microswitch (37) is actuated when control lever (35) reaches 95% of its travel forward. If necessary, adjust the position of microswitch (37). All 33) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris. 34) Install inspection doors 211L and 235R. 35) Install the engine cowlings - refer to 71-10-01. 36) Check up landing gear warning system - refer to 32-30-00. 37) Perform a test run-up - refer to 05-30-02. Check idle and adjust it if necessary - refer to 73-20-01. 38) If installed, perform an operational test of vapor cycle cooling system - refer to 21-55-00.
