EMERGENCY LIGHTING
REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
1. REMOVAL OF THE EMERGENCY BATTERY (Figure 401)
A. Tools and consumable materials None
B. Procedure
1) Remove the emergency locator transmitter (ELT) - refer to 25-60-00.
2) Open "EMER LIGHT" circuit-breaker on the circuit-breaker panel.
3) Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (4).
4) Loosen the two straps (3).
5) Remove emergency battery (1).
2. INSTALLATION OF THE EMERGENCY BATTERY (Figure 401)
A. Tools and consumable materials
None
B. Procedure
1) Install emergency battery (1) on its support (2), the front face towards the aircraft front.
2) Tighten straps (3).
3) Connect and lock electrical connector (4).
4) Perform a test sequence - refer to Chapter "DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION", Paragraph 4.C.
5) Install the emergency locator transmitter - refer to 25-60-00.
