2) Perform the following test :
ACTION RESULT
(1) Close main switch-breaker.
(2) Close navigation light switch-breaker. (a) Navigation lights come on.
(3) Open navigation light switch-breaker.
(4) Close anticollision lights switch-breaker. (a) Anticollision lights flash.
(5) Open anticollision lights switch-breaker.
(6) If installed, close recognition lights circuit-breaker.
(7) Set S141 switch to "ON". (a) Recognition lights operate, green indicator
light comes on.
(8) Set S141 switch to "OFF".
(9) Open recognition lights circuit-breaker.
(10) Open main switch-breaker.
3) If connected, disconnect the ground power unit - refer to 24-40-00.

EMERGENCY LIGHTING
DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
1. GENERAL
I The emergency lighting (option) is made of three swiveling light spots attached to the central part of the ceiling.
They are supplied by an emergency battery.
- The three spots light-up automatically and at full power on a violent impact,
- Manually, only two front spots are actionned by the switch and the emergency lighting rheostat located on the left side of the instrument panel.
The system is composed of :
- the emergency battery,
- the lighting spots,
- the control panel.

3. DESCRIPTION (Figures 3 and 4)
A. Emergency battery
It is located inside a rectangular shaped box, made of composite materials and able to resist high
mechanical stress. The lower part comprises accumulators and charge and test circuits. The upper part
comprises the "G-Switch" shock detector.
On the front panel are located a connector, a test push-button, a green test light and a fuse holder. The box is of a grey color.
The electrical supply to reload the emergency battery is coming from BUS 2.
B. Lighting spots
They are equipped with 6 V bulbs and are located on the central part of the ceiling. Two of them are located at the front, one of them at the back.
Because of their wiring, they cannot be switched off manually.
C. Control panel
It is composed of a three-position control switch :
- momentary down position - free lever return to center : "TEST"
- center position with lever lock against upward action : "AUTO"
