EMERGENCY DISTRIBUTION
INSPECTION / CHECK
1. CHECK OF THE EMERGENCY DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM (Figures 601 and 602)
A. Tools and consumable materials
None
B. Procedure
1) Remove engine cowlings - refer to 71-10-01.
2) If installed, remove inspection door 211L and, if necessary, remove inspection door 211R - refer to 06-30-00.
NOTE : The instruments may also be installed on the R.H. instrument panel.
3) Remove the cowling under hull 218.
4) If installed, remove inspection doors 213 and 214 - refer to 06-30-00.
5) Tilt the L.H. instrument panel and, if necessary, the R.H. instrument panel - refer to 31-10-01.
6) Check the normal distribution system - refer to 37-11-00.
7) Inspect hoses (3) for :
- clamp tightening,
- cracking, pinching or fretting wear,
- correct attachment and routing.
8) Inspect regulating valve (6) for attachment to support (7) and support (7) for attachment to the structure.
9) Inspect by-pass valve (1) for :
- general condition,
- connection of the wires of MT23 and MT24 pressure switches.
10) Inspect firewall and cabin floor feedthru unions (5) for tightening.
11) Inspect M59 elapsed time indicator (2) for :
- attachment with tie-wraps,
- electrical connections.
12) Inspect pipe (4) and its support for :
- deformation and cracks,
- attachment of pipe (4) to support,
- attachment of the support to the floor.
13) Inspect B59 electromechanical vacuum pump (25) or (26) for :
- attachment of the pump to its support,
- attachment of the support to doublers (21),

- attachment of doublers (21) to the floor,
- condition of the vibration isolators,
- condition and attachment of bonding strap (23),
- tightening of unions (24) on the pump body,
- pump electrical connections.
14) Inspect K59 relay (22) for :
- attachment to doubler (21),
- electrical connections.
15) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris.
16) Lock the L.H. instrument panel and, if necessary, the R.H. instrument panel.
