7) Secure input rod (10) to lever (11) with bolt (8), shouldered washers (9), washer (12) and nut (13). 8) Lock with a new cotter pin (14). 9) Install equipment items on the rear section of rudder trim tab control (20) and then, position it on support (21) while observing the dimension - refer to 27-20-04. 10) Connect rudder trim tab control (20) to lever (22) - refer to 27-20-04. 11) Adjust rudder trim tab travel - refer to 27-20-04. 12) Connect connecting plug (16) of anticollision light (if installed) and bonding strap (15). 13) Remove the protection from the baggage compartment bottom area. 14) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris. 15) Remove the padded support. 16) Install baggage compartment bottom door 242. 17) Install inspection door 312. 18) Install blank 221. 19) Install tail cone 222 - refer to 53-20-04. 20) Check the rudder travel - refer to 27-20-00. 21) Perform a test flight - refer to 05-30-00. Tools and consumable materials - Drill, dia. 1/8" (3.2 mm) - Cleaning agent (TB 11-003) - Linffree clean cloths B. Procedure 1) Remove the rudder - refer to Paragraph 1. 2) Remove screw (7) and static discharger (6). 3) Remove rivets (5) with a drill dia. 1/8" (3.2 mm) - refer to 51-40-02. 4) Disengage tip (4) to disconnect connecting plug of anticollision light (if installed). 5) Remove tip (4). 6) Clean drilling chips from the area. 7) Remove nuts (3), washers (2), bolts (8) and balancing weight (1). Discard nuts (3). 8) Clean the parts with a lintfree clean cloth moistened with cleaning agent (TB 11-003). 4. INSTALLATION OF THE BALANCING WEIGHT (Figure 402) A. Tools and consumable materials - Mastinox (TB 05-002A) - Varnish (TB 07-907) B. Procedure CAUTION : APPLY A COAT OF MASTINOX (TB 05-002A) BETWEEN BALANCING WEIGHT (1) AND STIFFENERS (9) AND (10). 1) Apply a coat of mastinox (TB 05-002A) to balancing weight (1). 2) Position and secure balancing weight (1) onto stiffeners (9) and (10) with bolts (8), washers (2) and new nuts (3). 3) Position tip (4) and connect connecting plug of anticollision light (if installed). 4) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris. 5) Secure the tip with rivets - refer to 51-40-02. 6) Secure static discharger (6) with screw (7). Apply some varnish (TB 07-907). 7) Install the rudder - refer to Paragraph 2.
