Installation of E42 antenna 1) Make sure the switch—breaker of the main switch is open. 2) Using a clean lintfree cloth moistened with cleaning agent (TB 11-912), clean the fuselage area in contact with the antenna base. Wipe with a dry cloth. 3) Position gasket (4) on antenna (3). 4) Secure the antenna with screws (2). 5) Apply a bead of sealant (TB 09-903) around the contour of the antenna. Smooth the bead. 6) Connect connector (1) to the antenna. 7) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris. 8) Install door 242. 9) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris. 10) Close door 219. 11) Perform an operational test of COM 3 system.
